Gen X Vs Gen Z in a Showdown on Campus

After the Hunt is an upcoming thriller film directed by Luca Guadagnino and written by Nora Garrett. The film is set on an American college campus of old guard teachers trying to get the kids to relax in the midst of a scandal of abuse. It’s a generation clash of old versus young with Julia Roberts as team Generation X versus Ayo Edebiri’s Generation Y. Indie darling Chloë Sevigny and thespian stalwart Michael Stuhlbarg round out the cast alongside Andrew Garfield as a controversial professor.

After the Hunt will be released by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Releasing International and will be in theaters October 17th, 2025.
