The tech start-up biopics continue with “Swiped,” the chronicling of Whitney Wolfe Herd’s exodus from dating-app Tinder and the launch of dating-app Bumble. The drama film explores Herd’s time at Tinder as well as her exit and attempt to develop a better dating app, the successful Bumble.

“Swiped” is written and directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg and stars stars Lily James as Herd, alongside Dan Stevens, Myha’la and Jackson White. “Swiped” will be released by by 20th Century Studios and on Hulu September 19th, 2025.
