The latest Star Wars movie is on its way and bringing small screen stars The Mandalorian and his little green pal Grogu to the big screen. Produced by Lucasfilm and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, “The Mandalorian and Grogu” is  a continuation of the Disney+ Star Wars television series The Mandalorian (2019–2023). Directed by Jon Favreau and co-written by Favreau and Dave Filoni, the plot revolves around the New Republic enlisting Din Djarin (Pascal) and his apprentice Grogu following the fall of the Galactic Empire, during a period where remaining Imperial warlords threaten the galaxy.

The film stars Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin / The Mandalorian, alongside Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White, and Jonny Coyne. “The Mandalorian and Grogu” will be released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and will be in theaters May 22nd, 2026.
