The Toxic Avenger returns in this bonkers not-a-remake but a update to the Troma classic. Written and directed by actor and Troma expert Macon Blair, Toxie’s brought to violent life by Peter Dinklage.

The splatter comedy follows Dinklage’s unlucky janitor Winston Gooze against thugs and freaks and a slimy CEO played by Kevin Bacon. Elijah Wood’s in there too with some of the best bald cap technology every committed to the silver screen.

The film also stars Jacob Tremblay, Taylour Paige, Julia Davis and Jonny Coyne. The Toxic Avenger premiered as at Fantastic Fest 2023 and will be released by Cineverse and Iconic Events Releasing on August 29th, 2025.
