A sequel to this year’s “28 Years Later” is here and is the fourth of a planned five-film series. “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple” is a post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Nia DaCosta and written by Alex Garland. It was shot back-to-back with its predecessor “28 Years Later,” and continues the 28 Days Later film series that began with “28 Days Later” back in 2002.

The action continues in the Rage Virus-ravaged London ruins with a gang of acrobatic survivors and plenty of angry zombies. The real enemy of course is the wickedness of the living as all good zombie movies make sure to point out. The film stars Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman, and Chi Lewis-Parry.

Released by Sony Pictures, “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple” will be in theaters January 16th, 2026.
